Got an idea how AI can boost Doula Care? Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming healthcare. At the same time, community doulas are increasingly recognized as essential partners in delivering person-centered, culturally responsive maternal care.

At LightedX - as a foresight-driven advisory firm, we believe the future of AI in maternal health should be shaped by the people closest to families: community doulas, birth workers, and the communities they serve. 

That belief is the foundation of our flagship initiative, the Community AI Accelerator for Maternal Health.

We invite community doulas, birth workers, maternal health advocates, and other community leaders across the Greater Philadelphia region to apply for the inaugural Inaugural Doula Care Innovation Fellowship and share innovative ideas for how AI can strengthen maternal health while preserving trust, equity, and human connection.

This inaugural accelerator is presented in partnership with Cocolife.Black, an organization that has cultivated a thriving maternal health ecosystem by supporting mothers, families, and birth workers throughout the motherhood journey. Together, LightedX and Cocolife.Black are committed to ensuring that community voices lead the next generation of AI innovation in maternal health.

During the fellowship, participants will refine their ideas through expert mentorship, hands-on learning, peer collaboration, and pitch coaching while building the knowledge and confidence to lead community-centered AI innovation.

No technical or AI experience is required.
